Energy communities represent an opportunity and a challenge for DSOs and TSOs. They can unlock consumers' flexibility potential and effectively integrate renewable resources and new technologies. They must fulfil all duties and responsibilities when acting as suppliers, active customers or any other market role on equal terms with other players.
